I remember Rosie coming to South School as one of our cooks. I was in 4th or 5th grade, and thought she was so pretty! Looking back, I wonder if it was because she looked so much like my own Mom! She also had blonde, 'big' hair and wore lots of make-up with that blue eye shadow! Rosie was so kind and sweet to us. Laughed and smiled so much! I adored her. Wow, that must have been 55 yrs ago now! I hope somehow, this story of how she touched a young girl, fills you with joy....as it has me all these years!
I am so sorry, to her entire family, for the loss of Rosie. I know she was even more special to you.
Praying for God's Peace and comfort to touch each of your Hearts, as you grieve a lovely lady.
