Sandra Kay Grillot

Sandra Kay Grillot, 86, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away at Ayden Healthcare of Greenville, Monday August 26, 2024 at 3:51 PM. Sandra was born December 16, 1937 in Ansonia, Ohio, the daughter of the late Rowena Westfall and John Garrett.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her Husband, Stanley B. Grillot Sr., whom she married on December 9, 1978, Her Son, Timothy L. Smith, her siblings.,

John H. Garrett, James D. Garrett, Paul E. Garrett, Roger F. Garrett, Arthur F. Garrett, Lewis C. Garrett, Germaine D. Buckingham, Nancy C. Shiverdecker, Sue Ann Clark, and Donna J. Kissinger.

Sandra is survived by her Step-children, numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.

She is a member of Darke County’s Lions Club, American Legion, VFW, and the Moose Lodge. She was known for her “Bougee” sense of style and was always looking very glamorous. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and crafts of all kinds. She really loved to read, she had so many books, and she could almost fill a library. But her favorite thing was playing BINGO! She even had her own bingo cane for a night on the town at Paws Bingo.

The family will be holding a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 31, 2024, 9-11 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville, Ohio with a service to follow at 11 AM. The service will be officiated by Ryan Berry. The family will be laying Sandra to rest at Teegarden Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Paws Bingo in memory of Sandra.
