Shirley Ann Fort

Shirley Ann Fort, 77, of Greenville, Ohio passed away March 14, 2024 at Village Green Healthcare Center under the care of EverHeart Hospice. She was born on July 8, 1946 to the late Lester and Juanita Baker.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Fort Sr., her parents and siblings Bonnie Yount, James Baker and Kenneth Baker.

She is survived by her sons Gary Fort, Jr. and Lloyd Fort, granddaughter Kourtni Fort and siblings Margaret Daugherty, Vera Meyers, Russell Baker and numerous other relatives and friends. Shirley worked for many years at Neff Lettering in Greenville and later Copeland in Sidney.

She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family, especially cooking with her granddaughter.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family, a celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to EverHeart Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
