Stan was born on October 14, 1971, in Union City, Indiana, to the late Richard E. & Linda J. (Davis) Mills.
Stan is survived by his wife of 31 years, Aimee (Hunt) Mills; children, Tyler & Laura Mills of Kissimmee, Florida, Hailey Mills & fiancé, Sam Jeatran of Bloomington, Indiana, and Lyndsee Mills of
Union City, Indiana; sister & brother-in-law, Leslie & Gary Zimmers of Union City, Indiana; niece, Landry & Dylan Doppler; and great nephew, Brooks Doppler of Union City, Ohio; brother-in-law, Joshua & Stacy Hunt of Losantville, Indiana; brother-in-law, Jacob & Lark Hunt; and niece, Laela Hunt and nephew, Grey Hunt, of Clarksville, Tennessee.
Stan graduated from Union City Community High School in 1990. Stan served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a correctional case worker. Stan loved spending time with his family, taking care of his lawn, listening to music, evenings around a campfire, and being outdoors.
A celebration of Stan’s life will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the funeral home.
