Thoughts and prayers to the family. I worked with Susie at Papa Johns back in 2000-2002. I was 16 and learned so much from this woman. She liked my work ethic and taught me about standing up for myself. I remember buying her different Betty Boop and Wizard of Oz trinkets to show my appreciation for her. Since moving to Michigan I would swing by Marco's to get in a quick hi and hug, Susie was always running just as much as I was. With the wonder of FB we had been reconnected and it was nice for her to comment her pride in all I've grown up to be. She was like a second mother and she was as sweet as she was tough. She knew what she wanted in life and nothing would ever stop her. If I can have one piece of Susie continue with me through the years, it will be to have the compassion towards others that she had and the intuition to follow my own heart, as she always did. Fly high Susie, you are already so dearly missed!

She was the most kind and caring women that showed me how to be the person that i needed to be. when you had problems she would show you what path you needed to follow no matter hard it was she was there. I loved her very much and I know the whole town loved her as well. My fondest memory was i was having a hard time with my divorce so she and i went out one night and that was the first time i was with Susie out side of work she sang the song divorce to me and i cried. it just seems like the god just got a new singer in his choir of angels

Susie was my mothers neighbor for many years and was truly an angel. I have never met someone that cared so much and took her time to help not only my mother but so many others. My mother was always happy to see her and may times she brought mom food or just stopped over and checked on her, not because she had to but because she cared that much. She also gave me piece of mind knowing that if I need something quick for my mom she was always across the street. Mom always said she was like a daughter to her and loved her dearly. Susie was and is now a true angel sent from heaven. She will truly be missed.

Small town woman,
Small town dreams
To many people
She was many things
She lived her life
As she damn well pleased
And through it all
She kept her dreams
So many hearts
Broken today
Has flown away.
Fly high Susie Now you can do it all
Just dont forget to smile down on us all!

Love you my forever friend

Susie was our neighbor and our kids grew up together. Travis and Jason were together most days. Tara and Barry hung out some too. She was one loved lady and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. RIP, Susie.
