Sylvia G. Niswonger

Sylvia G. Niswonger, age 61 of New Lebanon, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the New Lebanon Health & Rehab Center, New Lebanon, Ohio. Born in Greenville, Ohio on October 2, 1960 she was one of 3 children to the late Jay & Carolyn Niswonger- Simon. Sylvia was a Greenville High School graduate, class of 1978. She had worked for Springhill Nursery, and loved to be outside and work in the garden. She enjoyed listening to country music. Sylvia loved to spend time with her family and never missed a chance to watch her brothers play college football, or Valley View Spartan football games, which her brother coached for. She had quite the personality, and a heart of gold. She will be truly missed.

Survived by her son Brandon Williams: brothers Mark & Patty Niswonger: Jay w. Niswonger: special friend Chuck Colby: as well as nieces, nephews, cousins. A special thank you to all of the staff at the nursing home for all of the love and support shown to Sylvia, and as she would say, “Love you Most!”

Friends may call on the family from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM on Monday, February 14, 2022 at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Funeral service to follow at 11 AM with Pastor Todd Reish presiding. Burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Fort Jefferson, Ohio.
