Aunt Thelma became a mother figure to me after the death of my own mother. We shared so many laughs together as she recalled stories from her childhood. She rarely missed the chance to remind me of the time we played nurse/patient; I was the nurse and she was the "unlucky" patient as she experience the sharp jab of a real pin when I gave her a shot! She said she never got "well" so fast in her life! No matter how down she was when I first called, she was always laughing and sharing stories before we closed the call with an "I love you!"
I will miss her immensely, but know she is whole now and sharing her stories with her family. and celebrating at the feet of Jesus. One last, "I love you, Aunt Thelma."

John and I always enjoyed seeing and visiting with you at the Price reunions and at the BRC. Elmer and John talking fishing and Thelma updating us on all their grandkids that she was so proud of . May she rest in God’s perfect peace with Elmer and Shelly.

Glen and I were fortunate to be able to visit her last month, her loving and generous heart was still apparent, in fact if you tried to do anything for her it was an uphill battle. Aunt Thelma and my mother shared the same competitive spirit but neither wanted to be the last "Fike" standing. I know she is happy now that she has joined Uncle Elmer, Shelly and the rest of the family in heaven with her Lord. She is gone from our earthly lives but not from our memories, may the happiness and joy of those memories comfort us.

We have been very privileged to share many visits and phone calls with Aunt Thelma and also with Uncle Elmer. Aunt Thelma had a sweet spirit about her and so full of love for her family and her Lord. She blessed so many in her journey of life. She will be missed for sure, but we know she is walking the streets of gold with her Savior and Uncle Elmer. She is at peace and fully healed. May God hold each of you close while you recall all the special times and special words.
