Vanessa J Paris
July 20, 1953 – January 25, 2021
Vanessa J. Paris age 67, of Ansonia passed away at 9:39 AM on Monday, January 25, 2021, at her residence. Vanessa was born July 20, 1953, in Shelbyville, Indiana, to the late Robert “Bob” & Frances “Lucille” (Russell) Hoffman. In addition to her parents, Vanessa was also preceded in death by her husband, S. Dave Paris on March 3, 2002, whom she married January 31, 1970; brother, Keith Grover; sister-in-law, Juanita Casey; and brothers-in-law, Ron Paris and Art Francis. Vanessa is survived by her children, Mike Paris of Ansonia, James Robert Paris of Ansonia, April Staver of Ansonia and John “J.T.” & Jaclyn Paris of Ansonia; grandchildren, Brandi Paris, Miranda Roberts, Paige Roberts, Seth & Leann Weagant, Chelsy & Kyle Paris, Dillon Paris, Christion & Jessica Paris, Nicholas Paris, Sydney Staver, Brianna Paris, Johnathon Paris, Brianna Smith, Makayla Pitman, Paige Pitman and Madison Pitman; 18 great-grandchildren; brothers & sister-in-law, Bruce Miller of Warsaw, Indiana, Terry & Patricia Miller of Warsaw, Indiana, Jon Cloud of Florida and Mark Grover of Richmond, Indiana; brother-in-law, Rick Elson of Greenville; sisters-in-law, Linda Grover of Richmond, Indiana, Debbie Francis of Versailles, Judy & Darrell Coby of Greenville and Marsha Paris of Ansonia; and numerous nieces and nephews. Vanessa formerly worked at Stanley in Covington for 17 years and formerly owned the Annie Oakley Restaurant. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Chaplain Jacque Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Ansonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Care.
