Our Deepest Sympathy Pat, Tracy, Robert, and Richard,
Roy was a gentle kind man, enjoyed talking with him when he worked at the J.C. Penney store or out in his daughter back yard watering her tomato plants when she was gone.
LOVE and Blessing,

In high school my first job at 16 was at J.C. Penney (store 541-3). To this day I still remember my job and the memories of Mr Haines teaching me all the aspects of store stock, marketing and pricing of goods. To this day Mr Haines has remained an inspiration to me. He has always held a special place in my heart and always will.

So sorry for your loss Tracy and family. I had many of great conversations with your Dad at the Greenville golf course , played many rounds with him, ate and drank afterwards. He was full of knowledge, anecdotes, history, and humor. He will be missed by all! He was, also, the scribe of the geezer newsletter for many many years and I know they enjoyed reading it, as I had it read to me by Scott many times!
