Wilma and Byron made a home where their son, Phillip, could always invite his friends. They were part of my wonderful youth, they stayed friends with my parents, and they stayed interested in my life. They gave me a lot of love. They lit luminaries at the holidays by collecting plastic gallon milk jugs and filling them with sand. Each year there were more and more luminaries. The memories of the soft glow of those candles remain with the love I have for them and the Rutan family.

Jeri and Boyd.....You have our deepest sympathies today as well as our most sincere condolences. Frequently at these times words are very inadequate and of little comfort, but know that each person expressing them is helping put God's arms around you!!

I have such fond memories of Mrs. Rutan when she was a patient at our office. She always had a smile and I missed her when they moved to Brookville. Keeping your family in my prayers.

I've only known Wilma for a few months but she made quite an impression on me. She was sweet and had a great sense of humor. God has another angel and I know she will look over your entire family. My prayers are with you.
