He was born to the late Aurore & Adelard Masse on July 15, 1923.
He was a proud World War II veteran, serving his nation in the Army Air Corps – stationed in the Panama Canal Zone – and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 591 and the American Legion Post 73.
In addition, Alfred worked as a Lieutenant in the Fire Department of Pratt & Whitney Aircraft (North Haven) for twenty-seven years.
Surviving are Lillian, his wife of seventy years and four sons: Alfred Jr. (Camille)of New Port Richey, Florida; Paul (Mary) of Greenville, South Carolina; Raymond of Taylors, South Carolina; and Ronald (Carol) of Meriden, Connecticut. Alfred is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
