

She was born on February 24, 1929 to the late Ira Rea Cromley and Gladys Marie Alexander Cromley. She grew up on a farm in Culver, Indiana. Alice came to know the Lord as a child. She attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina from 1947-1951 at which time she began working at Unusual Films and continued to do so for 50 years.
Alice became a member of Faith Free Presbyterian Church when it first started in Greenville. She helped with the ministry of duplicating and mailing sermon tapes at the request of interested listeners. She did this for a number of years until failing health prevented her from continuing.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents Ira and Gladys Cromley, a brother Dale Cromley and his wife Phyllis, a sister Carol Olson (Roy) as well as two nephews John Mark Cromley and Joel Cromley. She is Survived by two brothers, John Cromley (Rose) and Paul Cromley, as well as 10 nieces and nephews, Lynn Olson, Stephen Olson, Ruth Killian, David Cromley, Becky Peterson, Beth Shvetz, Martha Wine, Steve Cromley, Tom Cromley, and Tim Cromley. In addition, Alice is survived by 22 great nieces and nephews as well as multiple great great nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on July 16, 2026 at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn, 1 Pine Knoll Dr. Greenville, SC 29609 at 10:00 am followed by burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
