Lynne, I was very surprised and saddened to hear of your Dad's passing. Thank you very much for contacting me. " Pizza Man " as we all called him, was a great and friendly guy. I will never forget all the times and fun we { all the golf gang } from Hejaz had on our trips to Hylton Head on our golf trips and on to Savannah for St Patrick day. Your dad was our tour guide and did a lot of cooking for the gang. We normally had about 18-20 guys that went down for several years to play golf and to just have a fun weekend. I also enjoyed playing golf with him for several years at the Shrine golf course. I will always remember him getting me some Snoopy { my hero } items when he worked at the insurance company. He contacted me several months ago and we had a long conversation . I had moved away from Mauldin and had stopped playing golf. We were good friends and I will always consider him as a close friend. To you, " Beefy " Mary and the rest of your family I send my deepest sympathy and Prayers.

Sincerely,
Les Hodge

Dear Suzanne,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. I fondly remember our fun times in Mr. Scott’s class at Mauldin and giving poor Sabrina “Duck” so much grief! Prayers for you and your family.
