My Dear Sweet Aunt Ann I can hear you now saying , Lisa dry your tears and don't be sad, I lived a full and blessed life. I grew up close with all 8 of my siblings and their families. I married the Love of my Life. I raised 5 strong, smart, loving children who made my life even richer by giving me beautiful grand and great grandchildren to fill my life with such happiness and love. So many wonderful memories I cherish and take with me. I have come full circle and now the Lord has called me home, again in the arms of the Love of my Life.
To my Dear Cousins, Jan, Billy, Polly and Barry.. After your dad passed your mom sent me a Christmas card with a picture of her and your dad, on the back she wrote "Notice my Wings" and "Don't forget us". I knew then what she was trying to tell me. It broke my heart, I realized she knew her time was near and she was ready. I was so thankful for the last time we were together I made a point of hugging her tight, telling her just how much she meant to me and that I love her so very much! I will truly miss her and keep her in my heart forever! She will not be forgotten.. Your mom was a Strong, Caring, Independent woman who moved to the beat of her own drum. I see the same in all of you.. She raised you well so remember to stick together, look out for and lean on each other and always no matter your differences Love one another. Take Comfort in knowing for your mom there's no more worries, sorrow or pain, she has her "Wings" and is at Peace with the Lords Love surrounding her... I keep you all in my prayers always.
Love and God Bless, Lisa and Rusty
p.s. I sent this thru yesterday 7/23/19 with a picture unfortunately it must have been to much at one time and didn't go thru. Will try picture separately.. So Sorry..

Such a shame that only death brings us together anymore. I know all my cousins will grieve and share memories of their Momma, as I will my "Aunt Ann". I love and miss you all. I will pray for God's peace to be with you during this time of loss. Love, Novie

My heart breaks to know I've lost another first cousin. Ann was so special to me and I always felt close to her. This photo is from 1950 of Ann and I after my parents bought their house. Jan, Polly, Billy, and Barry you all are in my prayers. May God give you comfort and peace in the days ahead. I love you all!
