Ann "Ann" Eliza Galusha

She was the daughter of the late Joseph Daniel and Edith Bainbridge Thompson of New Jersey. Ann enjoyed serving others, and in her twenties, she worked as a nurse. During this time, she was saved. In 1941, she married Rev. John Golla, and they shared 47 years together before his passing in 1988. Together, they had two children. She later married Bill Galusha in 1991, and they shared 6 years together before his passing in 1997. She was a member of Heritage Bible Church in Greer, SC for 35 years. She was known as a strong prayer warrior and was dearly loved.

Ann is survived by her children, James “Jim” Golla (Linda) and Joann “Jodi” Golla Johnson (Stu); three sisters, Edith Johnson, Eleanor Simmons, and Frances Dalton; one brother, Jesse Thompson; six grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. In addition to Rev. Golla and Mr. Galusha, Ann is predeceased by five sisters and three brothers.

A funeral service will be held at Heritage Bible Church, 2005 Old Spartanburg Road in Greer, on Saturday, September 16th at 10:00 am, with Pastor Danny Brooks presiding. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:00 am to 9:45 am in the sanctuary at Heritage Bible Church.
