Annie J. Hunnicutt

Annie Jean “AJ” Hunnicutt, age 100, of Greenville, wife of the late Frank Hunnicutt Jr. passed away peacefully in Greenville, South Carolina on May 2, 2026. She was born in Fountain Inn, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late George and Sarah Godfrey.

Annie Jean was a dedicated and hardworking woman who spent 50 years employed at Graham Photo. She was known for her loyalty, strong work ethic, and the lasting relationships she built throughout her career.

A woman of deep faith, AJ was a devoted and active member of East Park Baptist Church, where she worshiped faithfully and found great joy in her church family.

She is survived by her two children, Frank Hunnicutt lll and Donna H. Philpot. Four grandchildren; Sommer White (Shaun), Ashley Spencer (Kent), Kasey Holcombe, and Zack Philpot (Jessica). Eight great-grandchildren; Garrett (Campbell), Preston, Jackson, Kenley, Lavely, Paisley, TallieAnne, and Farris.

She is also survived by one sister Sarah Perkins and sister-in-law Joyce Godfrey along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her loving husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Robert Godfrey.

Annie Jean lived a long and meaningful life centered on her family, her faith, and her dedication to her work. Her legacy of love, strength, and devotion will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
