Arlene Redd Watts, 60, of Greenville, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019. She was born in Memphis, TN to Rosie and the late Robert Redd. She graduated from Southside High School in Greenville before being a member of Alpha Kappa Delta International Sociology Honor Society and earning a Bachelors of Science from Lander University in Greenwood, SC. Arlene enjoyed sewing and wood crafting. She served as a guardian ad litem for the Department of Social Services. Arlene was preceded in death by her son, Robert “Scooter” Redd; and her cocker spaniel, Lucy. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Ricky Watts; daughter, Maleya Redd; stepson, Richard Watts; grandchildren: Brenen Redd, and Savanna and Averee Nicole Absalom; sister, Melanie Redd; brother, Kirby Anderson; and her Shih Tzu poodle, Pearl.
