She was born in Kingsport, Tennessee on February 7, 1940. Barbara is survived by her only child, Jeffrey Drummond, niece Rebecca, and nephews, Mark and Chris. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis "Dink" Drummond, as well as her brother Farris "Skipper" Dean.
During her career, she spent 5 years at Daniel Construction, 20 years at Monsanto Corporation, and retired from Verizon after 24 years. Barbara loved life, family, and friends, as well as work and home life. Barbara also had a life-long passion for gardening.
Now, she is at peace with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and sends love to all who knew her.
A memorial gathering will be announced at a later date.
