Beatrice "Bea" Jacobs

Beatrice Charlotte Jacobs, 94, wife of late first husband William Orr and late second husband Milton Jacobs, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 15, 2024.

Mrs. Beatrice Jacobs was born on August 28, 1930 in Owego, New York to the late Ralph Leo Hill and Helen Mae Crum Hill.

She loved all things birds; her two favorites were the Cardinal and the Blue Bird. Mrs. Beatrice Jacobs also enjoyed flowers, her favorite being roses and she loved gardening. She and her three children would often can fresh vegetables from the gardens that Beatrice planted.

Surviving, is daughter, Sylvia Orr; daughter, Barbara Orr-Gasbarra and husband John Gasbarra; son, Robert "Bob/Bobby" Orr; grandchildren, Tammy Shaffer, Rebecca McGlothlen and husband Robert McGlothlen; Rhonda Shaffer-Oang and husband Dean Oang, Christine Cook and husband John Cook; and Sierra Stevens.

Eight great grandchildren, Emily Sando, Jasmine Thackston, Lael Ballew, Alana Woodburn, Zoe McGlothlen, Katelyn Oang, William Oang, and Adaline Cook; one great-great granddaughter Hazel. She was predeceased by brothers; George, Robert, and Ralph Hill and sisters; Fern Shaffer, Helena Sherman, and Mary Cercone.
