Billie Fay Ashmore von Dran, 87, of Greer, South Carolina, passed away peacefully with family in attendance, on September 17, 2025. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Harold Sr., who preceded her in death in 2004.
Billie will be fondly remembered by her children: Kay Teague (late Steve), Ginny Billiter (Eric), Ed von Dran (Rae), and Valencia von Dran. She was the cherished grandmother of Mark Teague (Jenn), Sharon Teague (Jonathan), Andrew Ault (Katie), and the late Jesse Ault, as well as Kai von Dran (fiancée Alexa), Erica Billiter, and Adrianne Kidd (Bryan). Billie’s legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Claire Teague, Riley Teague, Rory Feigenson, Maya Feigenson, Emma Ault, Adam Ault, Rachel Ault, Alyssa Ortiz, Alexis Kidd, and an eagerly awaited Lucien von Dran.
She is also survived by her siblings, Martha Ryan, Julius Ashmore, and Jerry Ashmore.
Billie’s warmth and love touched all who knew her, and her memory will always be a comfort to family and friends.
A visitation will be held at noon on October 12, 2025 at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn 1 Pine Knoll Dr., Greenville, SC 29609, with the service following at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place at Graceland East Memorial Park, 2206 Woodruff Road, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
