Brenda Lou Harrison, 76, of Taylors, SC, passed away Monday, December 9, 2019. She was born October 12, 1943 in Nickelsville, VA to Fred and Margaretta Fleenor. She married Charles Edward Harrison on February 26, 1965 in Chilhowie, VA. Brenda, “Lou” or “Mamaw”, was a hard-working stay-at-home mom, homemaker, and promotional sales representative for R.J. Reynolds and Phillip Morris. A few of her favorite things were her grandchildren and watching and feeding the birds. She also loved flowers, working in the garden, rock gardening, and cooking. Her favorite meal to prepare was a full southern breakfast, even for supper sometime. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Charlie; son, Charles Harrison, Jr. (Emily); daughter Bibi Woodward (Brandon); three grandchildren, Logan Harrison, Mackenzie Woodward, and Sydney Harrison; three sisters, Barbara Choate, Ann Ball, and Kay Fleenor, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Janice, and brother Bill. Services will be held Friday, December 13, 2019, 2:00PM, Hampton Heights Baptist Church, 2511 Wade Hampton Blvd, Greenville, SC 29615.
