Buddy was a member of First Baptist Church Simpsonville and attended Hillcrest High School. He was employed at W.R. Grace and Co. for many years. After retirement, he worked for American Security and Hillcrest Hospital in Simpsonville.
Surviving are his mother, Betty Brothers; son, Brent Chandler (Kristen); daughter, Jennifer Owens (Chris) and four grandchildren that were the love of his life, Madison Owens, Alli Chandler, Reese Chandler and Eden Chandler; brother, Terry Chandler (Denise), three sisters, Marcia Brownlee (Bill), Jennifer Fancher (Ron) and Janice Stanley (Barry). He is preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Chandler; step-father, Sidney Brothers; and Jane Sandsted, the mother of his children.
A memorial service will be Sunday December 11, 2016, 3 o’clock at The Mackey Mortuary with Rev. Carrol Caldwell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
