Carolyn "CC" Cartee Bendt, 86 of Simpsonville, passed away on July 20, 2013 after a period of declining health. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Walter S. Bendt of the home. Carolyn will always be remembered for her beautiful voice, her sense of style and most of all her faith in Jesus Christ. Carolyn's family and friends drew inspiration from her presence and she will be sadly missed. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that a donation be made to their own church or charity of their choice in her memory. Visitation will be held Friday, August 2, 2013 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Greenville from 1:00 - 3:00pm with a memorial service in the chapel at 3:00.
