Born in Brooklyn Md. She was the daughter of Frank and Virginia Boyer and is survived by daughters Carolyn Flanary and Sharon (Don) Brandt of Greenville, Deborah (Robert) Harris of Spartanburg, a sister, Katherine Carroll of Md.; a brother, Charles Boyer of Delaware; 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 7 step children, and adored by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was married for 52 years to Charles Thompson and later at the age of 83 to Dr. Everette Duncan She impacted many lives with her encouraging words and prayers.
Service will be held at Mackey Mortuary Chapel on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 3:00 pm with Pastor Irving Sparrow, nephew, and longtime pastor Roger Dickinson, burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to service from 1:00 pm to 2:45 pm.
