Born on February 27, 1940 in Pensacola FL, she was a member of Clearview Baptist Church in Travelers Rest, and was a veteran of the United States Navy, where she was a Navy Wave in the nineteen-fifties. She enjoyed flower gardening, reading, and knitting cloths for her family.
Cathy is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, William German, six children, Brenda Burgess (James), Kenneth German (Lynne), Michael German (Danelle), Cindy George (Michael), Dana Goos (Ian), Jodee Moffett (Ben). She has twenty-four grandchildren, was predeceased by one and twelve great grandchildren.
A funeral service for Cathy will be held Friday, January 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Clearview Baptist Church, 5611 State Park Rd., Travelers Rest, SC 29690. Her burial will be at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Cemetery in Anderson, SC.
