Charles W. Kilpatrick, 96 died peacefully at Shepherd’s Care Assisted Living on February 19, 2015. Born in Hanover, IL, he was the son of the late Howard and Stella Weede Kilpatrick and the loving husband of the late Winnie Semrow Kilpatrick. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law: Leeanne and Vern Mumma of Easley and two grandchildren: Shannon Austin (Jimmy) and Ryan Mumma (Ashley). He was employed with Sears for 35 years working both at Freeport, IL and Greenville where he retired in 1983. Visitation will be Sunday, February 22, 2015 in the Remembrance mausoleum Chapel in Woodlawn Memorial Park from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. Rev. Dale Sutton will officiate a private graveside funeral for the family later. The family wants to express sincere appreciation to his caregivers at Hospice and Shepherd’s Care Assisted Living.
