Chee Vue

Chee Vue was born on March 5, 1960, to Cher Yang Vue and Mai Moua in the city of Muang Mo, in Xiangkhouang Province, Laos. She was born during wartime and has always stated that she has been running and fighting her entire life. Chee battled stomach cancer for almost two years. She was at home, surrounded by her loved ones when she took her last breath. She ran her race, fought the good fight, and was called to her eternal home on January 15, 2023, at the age of 62.

Chee was preceded in death by her father, Cher Yang Vue. Chee is survived by Wapao Xiong, her Husband of 47 years, and their six children, Pahoua Xiong [Kong Meng Vang], Pa Choua Xiong [Her Vang], Don Sy Xiong, Diana Xiong [Tou Vang Her], Cindy Tcha [Tou Mor Tcha], Jason Xiong [Chee Vang], along with fifteen grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Mai Moua, three brothers, Chong Moua Vue, Nom Xue Vue, and Ger Vue, and four sisters, May Vue, Yer Vue, Houa Vue, and Mai Vue.

A visitation for Chee will be held Friday, February 17, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.

A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 1 Pine knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609. A committal service will occur at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
