Cinda Bruce Christian, 78, of Greenville, SC passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was best known by friends and family as "Gram". Born in Woodruff, SC, she was the daughter of the late J.J. and MayBelle Simmons. She was a long time employee of Ruth Fashions Company and a member of Oak Crest Baptist Church. She is survived by her three children, Larry Christian and his wife Jo (and son Josh Gilliam) of Greenville, Terri Smith and her husband Terry (and sons Reid and Stuart Smith) of Kings Mountain, NC, and Danny Christian and his wife Tammy (children and grandchildren, and son Josh Christian) of Greenville, one great-grandchild, Owen Christian and one brother Donald Simmons of Norfolk, Virginia. Bruce was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Hoyt Christian and grandson, Travis Christian.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 2, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 2:00 pm.
