Cliff Gandis

Cliff was raised in Pennsylvania and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He moved to Anderson, SC in 1978 with his loving wife, Bunny Gandis. He had a successful career in many leadership positions including General Tire, Penn Center Court, Stauffer Chemical and VyTech Industries in Anderson, SC; he finished his career as part owner and CEO of VyTech Industries.

Cliff was a very active member of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral where he served as President of the Church, as well as other Parish Council duties.

A visitation for Cliff will be held Friday, July 7, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC 29607. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 11:00 am at St George Greek Orthodox Church, 406 N Academy St, Greenville, SC 29601. A committal service will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.

Cliff is survived by his three children: Liza Kathryn Gandis, John Clifford Gandis (Denise A.), and Nicole Gandis Inglis (Steve R.), and eight grandchildren, Gabriel A. Arango, Jr, Nadia A. Arango, Clifford J. Gandis, Zoe D. Gandis, Constantine A. Gandis, Katina P. Inglis, Sierra E. Inglis, and Jett R. Inglis.

Cliff was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 56 years, Bunny Gandis.
