

Connie graduated from Spartanburg High School and attended Converse College before marrying her first husband. She was a pioneer for women selling real estate starting in the mid 1960's in Greenville. Her career continued when she moved to Charlotte, NC and Goldsboro, NC. After a successful career spanning decades in real estate she retired in Greenville, SC.
Connie was an avid participant in numerous sports especially tennis and golf in which she excelled. Even having a hole in one at the age of 74.
She loved the Lord and God gave her the gift of voice which she loved to share in choirs of the churches that she attended.
She is survived by her sister Alice Palmer (Dr. Robert Palmer); and children; Deck Cline, Jan Evans, Diane Aden (Steve) and Rick Cline; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents William and Jeannette Fine she is predeceased by 6 brothers and her first husband Dexter Vernon Cline, Sr.; her second husband Herbert Nodine and granddaughter Mary Christina Stuch.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Laurel Hurst/Woods and Hospice of the Carolina Foothills for their compassionate care of Connie.
A funeral will be held at Tryon Presbyterian Church, 430 Harmon Field Rd. Tryon, NC 28782 on June 27, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
