I met Cindy in the late 90’s working with troubled youth. I remember so much about her. She had a way about her; intense, funny, eclectic with so much soul. I learned so much from her and she had a spirit that can’t be replaced. I recall her love of Gram Parsons and The Rolling Stones and OH the stories she told. Although, I moved away I think of you often. Such great memories with trips to Charleston and New Orleans with friends and coworkers. I received a thoughtful book one year in my birthday and still have it to this day. Cindy left a impact and void on this earth. Will remember her fondly. May she Rest In Peace.

Cindy was one of the most genuine, kind, funny, smart people you could ever meet. She was a lover of funky art, good music, an interesting documentary, controversial books, and good TV. Cindy spent her life working with others less fortunate than most, and always did so with no judgment, her trademark humor, and kindness. She never forgot to wish you a happy birthday and was always the first to check in on her friends when they were going thru difficult times. She was a great person and an even better friend and will be missed tremendously by those who had the honor to know her.

I was shocked to hear this news. Alan and I have so many good memories with Cindy and the old gang. Alan knew her before I did and worked with her at Kmart when he was in high school. We had a lot of good times going to the lake in "this old boat" and getting together for parties and gatherings in Greenville and Greer with the old gang. I also worked with Cindy at two different places and have many fun memories with her and I and other co workers. I will remember Cindy as a genuine person who was super creative, intelligent, had a witty sense of humor, fun, caring and loved music and getting together with her friends. She also loved her dogs so much! She spent her career helping and caring for people. She worked with the mentally ill, with boys who had troubled backgrounds, at a shelter for abused women, people who were addicted, people who had chronic diseases and more. I am praying for your mom, Pete, Marty and Kim. I pray you are rejoicing in Heaven with Michelle, your dad and Vonni. Fly high Cindy. We love you! <3

I met Cindy back in the 90s while working at Generations Group Home. We quickly became friends. I have so many wonderful memories with her from concerts and beach trips to amazing dinners and celebrations. Her laugh was infectious. She was such a beautiful soul. I will always cherish those happy times. Until we meet again my friend. ❤

I only knew Cindy for a short time, but she had a significant impact on me. She was always kind and so very full of life. I will miss her and her beautiful laugh. Her spirit will live on, and I am sure I will feel her presence throughout our neighborhood.
