Dale started his law enforcement career with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office in February of 2000. He loved his job and the men and women he worked with. During Dale’s 15 years at the Sheriffs Office, he was always finding ways to serve others. He started the WaR fund program that is still in existence today. He also initiated the Echo platoon Shriners Children’s Hospital visit every Wednesday. In June of 2002, he married the love of his life Michelle X. Silver, and they then had what he would say were his greatest accomplishments in his life: their son Braylen and their daughter Ellison. His children are his pride and joy!
If you ask others about what they would remember about Dale, it would be that he had a servant's heart and that he loved the Lord and lived out that Christ-like example every day.
Dale is survived by his loving wife, Michelle X. Redinger Silver; his children, son Braylen Silver and daughter Ellison Silver; his parents, Thomas and Michelle Silver; his sister, Cinnamon McCauley; and his brother, Marc Silver.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 12th at 11:00am at Wellford Baptist Church at 235 Syphrit Road in Wellford. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 11th from 5:00-8:00pm at Mackey Funerals & Cremations at Century Drive.
