Dana “Grommie” Taylor Williams, age 72, passed away October 11, 2014. She was born in Greenville, SC, to the late Wendell and Marianne Taylor. She graduated from Greenville High School in 1960. Dana is survived by two daughters Debbie McKinney and Allison Ross (David); one son George McKinney; four grandchildren Chad Taylor Ross, Marianne Grace Ross, Andrea Sammons Rebfern and Tiffany Nicole McKinney; one brother Wendell Taylor (Carolyn); and nephew Andrew Taylor (Connie); and best friend Sally Stratton.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home with entombment to follow in the Remembrance Mausoleum, Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Greenville Humane Society. Debbie, Allison and George would like to thank the doctors, surgeons, and all the nurses on the ICU unit at the Greenville Health System.
