Dawn Collette Williams, a native of Greenville, SC, born on March 17, 1983, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022. For the brief time Dawn walked this earth, she charmed others with her wit, humor, and larger-than-life personality. Dawn was beloved by friends and family.
A graduate of Furman University and Emory University School of Law, Dawn led a unique life, working as an associate professor, land use planner, stand-up comedian, member of the West Hollywood City Council Social Justice Task Force, and much-loved mock trial judge and coach.
Dawn is survived by her mother, Dorothy Williams, brother David Collin Williams, sister-in-law Hong Truong, niece Vivienne Rose Williams, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and second cousins.
Dawn is predeceased by her father David Williams (September 13, 1946 to May 14, 2008).
