Deborah Lollis

Deborah Stone Lollis, 64, of Greer, wife of Larry Lollis, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. Born in Greenville, Debbie was the oldest child of the late James Aaron and Henrietta Howell Stone. Debbie’s most treasured accomplishment was being a wife and mother. She spent the first part of her career working with the elderly as a social worker and a nursing home administrator. Her love for the elderly never stopped. Her love for all people is where she invested her time. She began a Bible study and a prayer ministry out of her home that lasted almost 20 years. In addition to her husband Larry, Debbie is survived by her two sons, Jonathan Lollis and his wife Kristi of Simpsonville, and Oliver Lollis and his wife Allison of Greenville; her brother, Kenneth Aaron Stone and his wife Denise of Simpsonville; her sister, Terri Stone Reese and her husband Sammy of Greenville; and her grandchildren, Gabriel and Judah Lollis, and Ollie and Sophie Lollis. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 2pm at The Mackey Mortuary with Dr. William R. Cullum officiating. The family will receive friends at the mortuary one hour prior to the service.
