

Dr. DON G. CROW, 78 of Greenville, S.C., passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2010. Born in Wheeling, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles Ellis and Claire Wilson Crow. He served in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman. He attended West Virginia University, where he received a Bachelors Degree in Biology and a Masters Degree in Biochemistry. He attended Oklahoma State University, where he received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1965. Dr. Crow practiced in Huntington, W.Va., 30 years. As an active member of Faith Baptist Church, Taylors, S.C., he participated in the Favorites of Faith Sunday School class and was honored on Fathers Day of 2004 as "Father of the Year." He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Eleanor Baily Crow; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Karen Crow; a sister, Nancy Trentini; and three grandchildren, Caleb, Noah and Abraham Crow, all of Greenville. The memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 20, 2010, at Faith Baptist Church with burial at a later date in Greenwood Memorial Park in Wheeling, West Virginia.
