He was a lifelong resident of Washington, DC and Maryland. He attended Anacostia High School and then graduated from the University of Maryland.
Donald is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Mary Lou; three children, Donald J. Eury, Jr., Sharon E. Kofoed, and Deborah L. Spriggs; along with seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive Greenville, SC 29609. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel at 1:00 PM, with a reception to follow.
