Donna Jean Pasternak, 57, of Greenville, went to heaven to join her parents in eternal splendor Tuesday, May 22, 2018.

Born September 7, 1960 in Augusta, GA to Dolores and Kenneth Fryar, she was a person who exuded compassion, love, and empathy to anyone she met. She loved teaching children the Word of God through story-telling and by example.

Donna is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Steve; her sons, Steven (Diana) and Nicholas; sister, Nancy Counts (Mark); brother, Kenneth Fryar, Jr. (Debbie); and many nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, May 26th in the chapel at Mackey Funerals and Cremations on Century Dr., with Pastor Mark Lawing officiating. The family will receive friends and loved ones an hour prior to the service and burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
