Donnie Redding, 73, of Greenville, husband of Sharon Williams Redding, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021.
Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Hubert and Floree Hopkins Redding. He graduated from Parker High School and served in the SC Army National Guard. He was employed with Stone International for 33 years before his retirement.
In addition to his loving wife of 53 years, he is survived by a daughter, Dana Saunders and her husband John of Greer; two grandchildren, Sydney Reagan Saunders and Logan Saunders both of Greer; and one brother, David Redding and his wife Pat of Greenville.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC 29607. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 1:30 PM at Grace Church, 2801 Pelham Road, Greenville, SC 29615. Entombment will be private in the Serenity Mausoleum at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
