Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late James MacMillan and Grace Rabb. Preceding her in death were her siblings, Georgina Powell and James MacMillan Rabb, Jr.
Dot graduated from Furman University, Class of 1945. She was a longtime member of Taylors First Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son Belton Hammond and his wife Peggy, of Arden, NC; her daughter Dee Hopkins and her husband Daryl, of Taylors; and her grandchildren Madison Brinson and Zachary Hopkins.
Memorial services will be held Friday, September 23, 2016 at 3:00pm at Taylors First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1:30 – 2:45pm at the church.
