Douglas "Doug" Connor

Doug loved hunting, fishing, and any type of watersport. He loved his family and his wife was his world. He owned a gun shop in his earlier years, but retired from Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Doug is survived by his daughter Katie Cobb (Michael); his brother Mark Connor (Jewel); his sister-in-law Elaine; his grandchildren Logan Cobb, Christopher Barrett, Odin Cobb and Addyson Connor. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews.

Doug was preceded in death by his wife Karen Connor; his parents and his brother Joe Connor.

A visitation for Doug will be held Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC 29607. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.

Doug loved color, so in his honor the family would love for those attending to dress in color not black.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s association are appreciated.
