Edna M. Corley, 96, passed through Heavens Gates on Wednesday, October 10, at the Rainey Hospice House of Anderson, SC. Born: in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Clara Marlatt and the late Harry Nixon, both of Phillipsburg, NJ. Personal: Edna, also known as Nanny was a much loved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved and devoted husband, Paul G. Corley. Survivors: In addition to her children, Paula Anderson and her husband, Ray, and Sandra Jean and her husband, Ed both of Anderson, she is survived by four grandsons; and six great-grandchildren. Services: A memorial service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Central Presbyterian Church with Reverend David Bailey officiating.
