Elan Baglini Morrison passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 28th, 2017, in peace surrounded by the love of her family. In her short but full life, she was devoted to her family, especially her husband and children. She and her husband Kirk met at Marple Newtown High School and went on to receive degrees from Shippensburg University where she was an active member of Alpha Sigma Tau. They had two children, Hayley and AJ, and lived in five states where they made lifelong friends, finally settling in Greer, SC. She was an extraordinary wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Loving and lovable, her joyful personality, boundless compassion, deep wisdom, and ever present smile leave a bright light in this world that will continue to warm and delight us. We take comfort knowing that Elan's last conscious moment was with great friends, doing what she loved to do, in a place she loved to be: playing tennis at the beach. She was such a light in so many lives, an angel on Earth. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of those privileged to know her. In addition to her loving husband and children, she is survived by her father, Norman Baglini and step mother, Sidne Baglini, two sisters, Bonnie Baglini Johnston (Joel) and Rebekah Baglini, and predeceased by her mother, Nancy Barrett Baglini. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Florence Barrett. A celebration of her life will be held at Thornblade Country Club in Greer, SC, on Friday, November 3rd, at 11:00 a.m. As she delighted in bright colors all her life, we welcome you to wear a cheerful outfit. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in Elan's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (jdrf.org). Visit the Mackey Mortuary online guest registry at www.mackeymortuary.com
