Elizabeth Flinkingshelt, 97, of Greenville, SC, went to be with her Heavenly Father on October, 22, 2016. She was born in Elloree, SC on September 13, 1919; the daughter of the late Byers and Florence Heatley.
Surviving is her son; Herman Flinkingshelt (Janice); her grandsons; Keith Flinkingshelt (Shelley) and Kevin Flinkingshelt (Stephanie); three step-grandchildren; Lamar Keeler (Angie), Shantel Pledger (David), and Michelle Thomas (Marc); and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Herman Flinkingshelt, Sr.; 2 brothers; Ben and Robert Heatley; and 2 sisters; Annie Lee Shuler and Flossie Jones.
Many years of gratitude to the three doctors; Dr. Lynn Hammond, Dr. Kim Gococo, and Dr. Jon Bittrick for their compassionate care.
Funeral service will be held at Mackey Mortuary on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 3:00pm with a visitation at 1:00pm. Committal service to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
