Eula Elizabeth Murphy Acton, widow of Frank Acton and the daughter of the late William and Corrie Walker Murphy went to be with the Lord on July 2, 2013. Eula had the gift of never meeting a stranger and was loved by everyone who knew her. She enjoyed going to Bojangles every morning to eat with her friends, to play Bingo at Harvey's, but most of all being with her church family at Earle Street Baptist on Sunday and Wednesday night. She is survived by a daughter: Nancy (Larry) Grant of Charleston, SC; a sister: Ethel Chumley of Woodruff, SC; two grandchildren: Brian (Mary) Grant and Lisa (Charles) McCutcheon; three great-grandchildren: Andrew and Will Grant, and Emily McCutcheon, all of Charleston. She was predeceased by a sister and five brothers. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Earle Street Baptist Church followed by burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:30 - 2:00 pm in the church.
