Flora “Flo” Simpson McCall, age 95 of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. She was born in Anderson, SC to her loving parents Warren Dean Simpson and Grace Mcgee Simpson. She was the wife of the late James William McCall Sr., and a very active member of the Monaghan Baptist Church in Greenville, SC.
Flora worked in the Classified Department of Greenville News for 25 years. She loved her church, especially her Sunday school class. She enjoyed driving and doing different activities with her friends in the “Golden Ages”, and “Silver Tones”. She always loved shopping, especially for pocket books. Flora is survived by her daughters Marsha McKinney, Donna Grice, Jane McCall; son Jimmy McCall; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two nieces; and one nephew. Flora is also survived by a very special friend Betty McKinny.
A funeral service for Flora will be held Friday, August 6, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 11:00 AM. The burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family has requested that masks be worn during the services for the safety of everyone attending.
