Frances Gregory

Born on April 8, 1922 in Greenville, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Mae Waller and Andrew Harrison Gregory.

Frances was a devoted Christian and member of Northgate Baptist Church in Greenville, South Carolina where she taught Sunday School for many years. She worked for Winn Dixie, and after retirement worked at Heckman Law Firm. Frances was a world traveler and loved to share stories of her time abroad. Her favorite trips included Israel, Ireland, Egypt, and Hawaii.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her three brothers, Andrew Harrison III, William Lewis Gregory, and Jack Norman Gregory, as well as a nephew, Joel Patrick Gregory.

Frances is survived by her sister-in-law, Nancy M. Gregory; nieces and nephews, Harry Gregory, Gene and Kathy Gregory, Beth and Richard Bianco, Mary Ann Gregory and Traci Caillouet, and Jack and Deanna Gregory; as well as many great and great-great nieces and nephews, whom she thought of as her own.

A visitation for Frances will take place on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Remembrance Mausoleum Chapel, at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1901 Wade Hampton Blvd, Greenville, SC 29609, with a service to follow at 12:00 PM. Frances will be laid to rest privately next to her parents.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Frances' honor may be made to Northgate Baptist Church, 633 Summit Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.
