Born in East Patterson, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Marie DenBleyker Stellingwerf. Frances received her BA from Bob Jones University, and then taught at the University in the School of Business for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who had a servant’s heart. She traveled with her husband all over the USA helping churches and was a member of Colonial Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, David Tillman of Lakeland, Georgia and Brian Tillman (Deanna) of Piedmont, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 11:00am until 1:15pm at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive with a funeral service to follow at 1:30pm in the chapel. Burial will follow the service at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
