

Howard Franklin Hill, Jr. 70, of Greenville, passed away July 24, 2015. Born in Greenville, SC, June 1, 1945, he was the son of Ersie Greene Hill and the late Howard F. Hill Sr. He was a graduate of Greenville High School and served his country in the US Navy.
Frank loved his family, spending time with his grandchildren and was a huge fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. He liked talking about the times when he was a Boy Scout and was so pleased that all of his grandchildren had participated in scouting.
Surviving are his wife of fifty years, Sharon Baldwin Hill, a son Jeffrey Hill (Alicia) of Greenville, a daughter Lauren H. Butfiloski (Jay) of Irmo, five grandchildren: Alexandria, Jacob and Annalise Hill and Cooper and Hayden Butfiloski; sisters: Brenda Huff of Simpsonville and Cindy Sewell (Jim) of Easley, brothers: Randy Hill (Terri) of Salisbury, NC and Michael Hill of Palm Springs, CA, special niece Kayla Sewell of Anderson, and sisters-in-law: Mitzy Hill of Simpsonville, Nancy Hill of Mauldin and Kaye B. Morgan of Fayetteville, GA. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brothers Ralph E. Hill and Richard E. Hill, Sr.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 30, 2015, at 2:00p.m. in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home located at 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, South Carolina. The family will receive friends before the service from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
