Fred O. Hayes, Sr. 76 of Greenville, SC passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2015. He was born in Pickens Co., SC to Willie and Viola Trotter Hayes. Fred loved Golf, Fishing, and Bowling. He was a member of Clearview Baptist Church, served in the US Army, and retired from Henkle Corp. He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Annette Davis Hayes; two children: Charlene Saylors and Fred Hayes, Jr.; grandchildren: Victoria and Wil Saylors; siblings: Connie Gilstrap, Jimmy Hayes, Sam Hayes, Joe Hayes, Aurie Thomas, Sue Hunter, and Dinah Lamar. He was predeceased by two sisters: Jayne Sprouse and Lou Youngblood. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 1-2pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home followed the funeral service at 2:30pm in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home and entombment in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
